MY BIOGRAPHY

My name is Matteo i was born in march of the 1977 my Hometown is in the province of Milan were i live also now.

My passion for radio was born in the middle of 80', wen i take part several time with my scout group PIOLTELLO 1st C.N.G.E.I. to J.O.T.A. (Jamborre Of The Air) a meeting of scout of different nation thru the radio.

In 1989 i bought my first reciver a Lafayette TR 80, with it i listen to CB, in 1991 wen i was 14 a friend gaven me a CB transceiver so i start my transimission, i remember during an afternoon of middle summer together my CB friend RIO 75, find my first sporadic E making a little qso with a spanish station.

At the end of summer of 1991 my parents bought to me a CB with SSB capability with it i made qso with several country in Europe.

In 1995 i was 18 but only in 1996 i had my first ham radio licence my call was IW2MNU, at that time i meet Pietro I2RV together we love earth moon earth qso, i also made cw qso, dx, and contest all on 144 Mhz, in 1999 i pass cw exam and my callsign became IZ2DAY.
